Day 120 - Splish Splash

Lately, we've been washing our car often.  Sure, the car looks great when it's clean, but mostly it's a FUN thing to do with the kids.  They love to scrub down their bikes and scooters now too.

Lydia especially has ALWAYS enjoyed playing with the water in the bucket.  Here's proof:

Day 118 - Wasp Woman

Our yard is full of wasps! WHY!?!?!!!

I googled "wasp" thinking I could find a nasty close-up photo of one,

but I found something BETTER! What a hilarious movie this looks to be!

 

Day 117 - Where are my Zzzzz's????

I recently heard someone say,

"I can't remember the last time I wasn't at least a little bit tired."

Right now, I couldn't relate more.

I personally can't get enough.  I find them fascinating!

I'm making YO YOs.  Lots of YO YOs.

I've seen some crafty things done with them (ex. quilts, dolls, animals),

and I'm eager to attempt some projects of my own.

Day 109 - I Can't Help It

I can't help it that I LOVE looking at old photos of my kids.

I can't imagine how nuts I'll be in a couple decades-

when I'll have thousands of more photos to enjoy!

Day 107 - Bird's Eye View

This is my favorite photo from when we went to the Kite Festival last week.

Luke finally got his kite to fly HIGH and I got down LOW for the shot.

(I titled this post, "bird's eye view". I think I should instead call it, "worm's eye view". I know I'm a dork!)

I was reminded last week why our Cincinnati Zoo claims and has EARNED the title of Botanical Gardens!  It is in full bloom and indeed took my breath away!

Day 101 - Let's Go Fly A Kite

Today we're going to a Kite Festival at Voice of America Park in West Chester.  We've been there a few times before, and it's terrific!

This picture represents what we'll experience...

only we WON'T be wearing bathing suits, we WON'T be on a beach, and we'll actually be surrounded by thousands of other people with kites.

I guess this doesn't represent what we'll experience at all.

While she was SUPPOSED to be playing "soccer", Lydia grabbed a water gun and went after Craig.  I guess she'll do whatever it takes to get the ball.  Should I be worried?!?!!

I am surrounded by Polly Pocket Princesses!   They're EVERYWHERE!!! But more importantly, THEY ARE LOVED!

Day 94 - Happy Easter
